The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for leading the company's marketing, branding, and business development strategies across petroleum products and allied services.
This role is required to drive market penetration, customer acquisition, and sustainable growth while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute marketing strategies for petroleum products, waste management, and environmental consultancy services.
Brand Development: Position the company as a trusted leader in petroleum supply, pollution control, and marine services.
Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities in industrial, medical, and domestic waste management sectors.
Customer Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with government agencies, corporate clients, and international stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure marketing practices align with Nigerian oil & gas regulations and environmental standards.
Revenue Growth: Drive profitability through innovative marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Key Requirements
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 15 years experience in Marketing / Revenue leadership, with at least 5 years at executive level.
Strong understanding of Nigerian Oil & Gas downstream sector and environmental services
Leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and proven track record in revenue growth.
