The role:

  • Leads a finance organisation with six direct reports across multiple locations.
  • Partners closely with Terminal Managing Directors and functional leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Partner with the Country CEO and Leadership Team to shape business strategy and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
  • Develop investment cases and support capital allocation decisions.
  • Provide commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Stewardship & Governance

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and timely month-end close.
  • Maintain strong accounting practices across local finance teams and Global Service Centres.
  • Lead treasury, working capital, tax compliance and Board reporting.

Risk & Controls

  • Lead enterprise risk management and strengthen financial controls.
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and compliance actions.
  • Oversee fraud prevention, insurance and governance frameworks.

People Leadership

  • Build and develop a high-performing, inclusive finance organisation.
  • Drive succession planning, capability development and talent growth.
  • Foster collaboration across local, regional and global finance teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion Lean and the APMT Business System to simplify processes, improve efficiency and embed continuous improvement.
