Job Title: Chemical Handler
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Summary
Prepare and monitor chemicals used in the Talo clarification process in accordance with approved operating procedures, ensuring correct chemical concentrations, proper dosing, and compliance with production, food safety, and occupational health and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare process chemicals for Talo clarification in accordance with approved operating procedures.
Maintain accurate records of chemical consumption, stock levels, and balances.
Monitor chemical inventory to ensure the continuous availability of process chemicals.
Receive and transfer process chemicals to the designated production area in line with established handling procedures.
Monitor process tank levels to ensure adequate chemical availability for production operations.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) during chemical preparation, handling, storage, and usage.
Qualifications
Minimum of ND in Engineering/Science field.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience.
