Job Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef / Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service. Whether you are executing signature dishes or managing daily station prep, your focus will be on quality, speed, food safety, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, season, and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, burners). Handle prep work efficiently (cutting vegetables, portioning proteins, preparing sauces, and marinades). Manage station workload to ensure dishes are completed accurately and sent out promptly during rush hours. Maintain strict food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with local health regulations. Keep cooking areas, equipment, surfaces, and utensils clean, organized, and disinfected throughout shift. Monitor food temperatures and store raw and cooked items correctly to avoid cross-contamination. Monitor station stock levels and communicate inventory shortages to the Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor. Label, date, and properly rotate food stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.
