We are seeking a Field Officer to join our team. This position involves leading initiatives to enhance community engagement, support local groups, and improve overall social and economic outcomes within rural and underserved areas. The role requires working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Missions:
Facilitate community awareness campaigns, organize training sessions, and mobilize local populations to improve educational outcomes and foster active parental engagement in school activities.
Organize and support the development of community groups, volunteers, and parent-led initiatives aimed at enhancing learning environments and strengthening child protection mechanisms.
Provide essential guidance, counselling, and referral services to vulnerable children and families, ensuring access to necessary social support and protection resources.
Mobilize, train, and mentor Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and other livelihood groups to promote financial inclusion and sustainable economic activities.
Support households in developing sustainable income-generating activities, improving food security, and building resilience against economic shocks.
Train and coach farmers on modern agricultural practices, effective post-harvest handling, and farm management techniques to increase productivity and income.
Facilitate market linkages, develop value chains, and provide access to relevant livelihood information to enhance economic opportunities for local communities.
Collect, analyze, and report program data, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of project results and impact assessments.
Contribute to the development of project proposals, activity planning, monitoring, and reporting to donors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, teamwork, and community engagement skills, with a willingness to work effectively in rural and remote communities.
