Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and technically competent CCTV Operator with practical knowledge of engineering and electronic surveillance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, detecting and reporting security incidents, maintaining surveillance records, and ensuring effective operation of CCTV equipment within the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the company premises.
• Observe production areas, entrances, exits, warehouses, offices, and other critical locations.
• Identify and promptly report suspicious activities, security breaches, accidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Operate CCTV monitors, DVR, NVR, IP cameras, and related surveillance equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and CCTV monitoring activities.
• Retrieve and preserve relevant CCTV footage when required.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure cameras and surveillance equipment are functioning properly.
• Report equipment faults and assist technical personnel with troubleshooting.
• Monitor access-control systems and support security personnel when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and security information.
• Prepare daily CCTV monitoring and incident reports.
• Support investigations and emergency response by providing relevant surveillance footage and information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant CCTV/security surveillance experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of engineering and CCTV systems is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, monitors, and basic networking.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, power supply, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify and report technical faults with CCTV equipment.
• Knowledge of access-control and electronic security systems is an advantage.
• Strong observation, attention to detail, and incident-reporting skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, alertness, and professionalism.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
