Purpose of the Role To ensure exceptional customer satisfaction with Exim's products and services for all walk-in customers by maximising sales profitability and fostering growth within the Cash & Carry. Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent and professional customer service at all times. Maintain thorough knowledge of all products available for sale. Possess a basic understanding of the functions of all machines on the shop floor. Exercise accurate and stringent stock control procedures. Ensure shelves are consistently stocked and products are presented in good condition. Balance the cash register and manage receipts accurately. Follow proper procedures for stock movements to and from the warehouse. Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally where necessary. Take initiative in promotions and employ effective sales techniques to boost revenue. Achieve monthly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager. Undertake additional tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the business as required. Maintain a neat and clean store environment at all times. Perform general administrative duties as requested by the branch management. Required Minimum Education & Work Experience Minimum Matriculation / Grade 12 qualification. At least two years' production experience within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience in food safety and Health & Safety is essential. Ability to work independently and think quickly in dynamic situations. Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, or proficient in a third language. Strong problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to work overtime when required.
