Carpentry Tutor (4 Position)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree /Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of carpentry industry experience; teaching or training experience is an added advantage.
• Being registered with TVETA is an added advantage
• Strong hands-on skills in carpentry, woodworking, joinery, and safe use of tools and machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach carpentry theory and practical lessons, including measuring, cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing wood.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical projects, assessments, and student records.
• Supervise students during workshop sessions and practical projects, ensuring safe use of tools and equipment.
• Guide and mentor students in workshop practice, workmanship, and professional conduct.
• Maintain workshop discipline and ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, and institutional policies.
