Calibration Technician -solar Energy

• Perform on-site calibration of weather station instruments and solar monitoring equipment at utility-scale solar PV sites.

Requirements

• Matric with a technical qualification and/or relevant technical experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable transport
• Good English proficiency
• Comfortable working outdoors and at remote sites
• Willing to travel frequently, including approximately 2 weeks per month
• Able to work independently and away from home
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience with data loggers, meteorological equipment, solar sensors or calibration advantageous
• Self-motivated, reliable and eager to learn
