Role Description
The Business Process Performance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos.
This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, service quality, and compliance across the bank's operations.
The person in this position will monitor key performance indicators, identify process gaps, and recommend solutions that drive operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.
Daily activities include collaborating with business units to document workflows, leading process improvement initiatives, coordinating with finance and budgeting teams to align process performance with financial objectives, and preparing regular reports and presentations for management.
The role also involves supporting change management efforts, training stakeholders on new processes, and ensuring that process enhancements are sustained and continuously improved.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP) is an advantage.
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate process performance, and develop actionable insights.
Finance and Budgeting skills to link process improvements with cost optimization and financial targets.
Business Analysis capabilities to document requirements, map workflows, and assess operational impacts.
Business Relationship Management skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience in process improvement, operations management, or performance management within financial services or a similar regulated industry.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with process modeling tools is beneficial.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive change and influence outcomes.
