Role Description

• The Business Leader - Power Sector is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for driving business growth and strategic initiatives in the power sector, focusing on the adoption and expansion of Crown Interactive's sovereign digital platforms for utilities and energy providers. Day-to-day activities include leading market and sector analysis, defining business plans and revenue strategies, and overseeing key client accounts to ensure strong stakeholder relationships and high-quality service delivery. The individual will collaborate with product, technology, and implementation teams to align solutions with sector needs, support bids and proposals, and monitor project and portfolio performance. The role also involves representing Crown Interactive at industry events, shaping thought leadership in the power sector, and providing input to senior leadership on market opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, market trends, and regulatory frameworks in the power and utilities sector.
• Business planning and broader business management skills, with experience in strategy development, go-to-market planning, and revenue growth execution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders, lead negotiations, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Customer service orientation, demonstrating a commitment to client success, relationship management, and responsive support for government and enterprise customers.
• Proven leadership experience in the power, utilities, or energy sector, preferably in consulting, technology, or infrastructure-focused organizations.
• Experience with digital transformation projects, enterprise software solutions, or platform-based business models is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Lagos, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed for client engagements and sector events.
