Roles/Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate, identify, and follow up on new business leads and opportunities.
• Drive customer acquisition and convert prospects into business.
• Promote, sell, and cross-sell relevant insurance products.
• Work closely with branches and internal teams to identify and pursue business opportunities.
• Follow up on policy renewals and support customer retention.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of prospects, clients, opportunities, and follow-ups.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the customer base and growing business revenue.
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Monitor sales activities and performance against assigned targets.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Insurance, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification in Insurance , Marketing, Sales, or a related field, such as ECOP, COP or ACII will be an added advantage
• Relevant training from the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) or College of Insurance is an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in insurance business development, sales, customer acquisition, or relationship management will be an advantage.
• Strong business development and sales skills.
• Good knowledge of insurance products and the insurance market.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Target-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Team collaboration and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and commercially astute, with strong planning, reporting, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills
