Business growth in the competitive FMCG sector depends heavily on expanding market presence and securing valuable new partnerships. To support this, we are seeking a Business Development Manager - On Trade Sales (Beverages) who will play a pivotal role in growing the On Trade business in the Kwa-Zulu Natal - Durban region.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Develop and expand the On Trade business locally, strengthening market presence.
Master the product and pricing portfolio to effectively plan and execute sales strategies.
Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly trade activities to drive business success.
Implement pricing, promotional, and incentive programs that meet sales and merchandising goals.
Secure new listings through strong negotiation skills to extend brand reach.
Lead quarterly business review and planning meetings with key internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, commercial activities, and analytical reports.
Execute the Brand's Sales strategy dynamically to enhance product awareness among consumers.
Apply financial insights to product mix, pricing, and promotional strategies to optimize monthly ROI.
Utilize the Skynamo sales force tool effectively for sales management.
Represent and promote the brand at events as required.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
What You'll Bring:
At least 2 years' experience, preferably within an FMCG sales environment.
Minimum 1 year as a Sales Brand Ambassador.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and interpret sales data.
Competence in business development, resource management, and innovation.
