ROLE OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develop and implement the annual business development strategy.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Identify new markets, services, products and revenue streams.
  • Develop business cases for new services, partnerships and expansion opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • At least 7 years' relevant experience, preferably including 3+ years in a managerial or senior business development role.
  • Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales or commercial growth.
  • Understanding of the Kenyan healthcare market and payer ecosystem is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, public relations and communication skills.
