We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Business & Performance Analyst to support our Sales & Marketing function.
The successful candidate will provide actionable business and market insights, monitor sales performance, evaluate market and competitor activities, and support strategic decision-making aimed at driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business performance reports.
Develop dashboards to track key performance indicators, including OTIF delivery, sales forecasts, order books, backlogs, and truck residency.
Conduct market and competitor analysis covering market share, industry trends, customer behaviour, brand perception, and customer satisfaction.
Translate business and market data into actionable insights and recommendations for management.
Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive developments, and industry trends.
Support Corporate Sales with performance analysis, customer action plans, and business improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Risk Management, SAP, Finance, and Sales to support operational and customer requirements.
Benchmark business performance against industry competitors and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain market intelligence and data-gathering frameworks.
Track and report progress on strategic and business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Research, Business, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
5 - 9 years' relevant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of business analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
Good understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic trends and their impact on business performance.
Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Working knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools.
Strong numerical, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the cement manufacturing industry and its market dynamics, regulations, challenges, and opportunities will be an advantage.
