Reports to the Portfolio Manager - Finance
Responsibilities:
Analyse, document, and translate business requirements into actionable solutions
Partner with architects and project managers to ensure accurate design and delivery
Oversee functional testing, user acceptance, and solution roll-outs
Provide Level 2 support for system users and operational issues
Propose and implement system enhancements to improve performance
Manage vendor relationships and assist with application-related queries
Maintain centralised system documentation and process records
Lead and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent tertiary qualification
Minimum 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst in wholesale/retail
At least 5 years' direct Business Analysis experience
Strong knowledge of frameworks such as BABOK, ALM, SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall
In-depth understanding of retail systems and application stacks
Proven ability to design, optimise, and govern business processes
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capability
