Job Title: Brand Photographer & Videographer

The Role
The Brand Photographer / Videographer captures and communicates the quality, atmosphere and personality of Misan & Co. through compelling photography and video.
Your work will help prospective clients understand our hospitality experience, showcase our services and preserve important moments from events.
Working with the founders, Social Media Manager and operations team, you will translate creative briefs into well-planned shoots covering our spaces, celebrations, food, drinks, service details and guest experiences.
You will prepare equipment, develop shot lists and capture both planned content and spontaneous moments with strong composition, appropriate lighting and clear audio where required. The role includes editing agreed deliverables, preparing footage for the video editor, maintaining a consistent visual style and organising files so they can be easily retrieved and reused.
You must work discreetly around guests, respect consent arrangements and coordinate coverage without disrupting an event.
Success requires creative judgement and dependable execution: arriving prepared, capturing the required moments, protecting equipment and delivering polished assets on schedule.
Friday office attendance, additional scheduled shoots and weekend event coverage form part of the working arrangement.
Responsibilities
Photograph and film events, guest experiences, spaces, food, drinks and hospitality details.
Produce polished brand images, promotional videos, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Translate content briefs into shot lists and prepare equipment before each shoot.
Capture vertical and horizontal footage suitable for social media, advertising and website use. Deliver edited photographs and agreed video edits to schedule.
Organise and hand over footage to the video editor where assigned.
Maintain consistent colour, image quality and visual style.
Capture genuine moments while respecting guest comfort, privacy and agreed consent arrangements.
Coordinate with the operations team to cover important moments without disrupting service.
Back up, label and organise files so the team can retrieve them easily.
Care for company equipment and promptly report faults or damage.
Contribute visual ideas that strengthen the brand and its campaigns.
Requirements
Must have at least 2 years experience
A strong portfolio of photography and video work; hospitality, lifestyle or event experience preferred.
Competence with cameras, lighting, audio recording and stabilisation equipment.
Proficiency in photo editing and at least one professional video-editing application.
Strong composition, storytelling and attention to detail.
Ability to work in changing lighting conditions and capture moments under time pressure.
Reliable file management, communication and delivery.
Availability for scheduled weekday shoots and weekend event coverage.
Working arrangement Friday office attendance is required.
Additional attendance and shoots may be scheduled on other weekdays and weekends.
Standard office hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; event coverage may fall outside these hours.
Work may take place at any Misan & Co. office, venue or assigned shoot location.
Salary N200,000 / Month
