We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our new branch; Our China Town (O.C.T) and drive business growth, customer acquisition, operational excellence, and team performance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and managing client relationships, achieving business targets, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As this branch will serve a significant Chinese-speaking clientele, fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Roles & Responsibilities
Drive branch business performance through achievement of growth, profitability, and customer acquisition targets.
Develop and execute strategies to grow funded and non-funded business portfolios.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities from both existing and prospective customers.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service standards.
Monitor branch sales performance and portfolio growth against agreed targets.
Analyze financial statements, assess credit requests, and provide recommendations for approval.
Oversee credit portfolio quality, including management of loan arrears and excess drawings.
Ensure timely perfection and registration of collateral and securities.
Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve high performance standards.
Manage branch operational risk, compliance, and internal controls.
Prepare and submit regular business performance and activity reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and branch efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Relevant professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline.
Membership in a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 years' relevant banking or financial services experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
Mandatory Requirements
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Professional proficiency in English.
