Job Summary

  • The Boutique Finance Controller will act as the finance business partner to the Company's boutiques, providing financial oversight across sales, cash, inventory and operational controls.
  • The role will serve as the key link between Head Office Finance and boutique operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily boutique sales and financial performance.
  • Review cash collections, deposits and payment reconciliations.
  • Reconcile sales transactions against POS and financial systems.
  • Monitor boutique inventory and investigate variances.
  • Review discounts, refunds, returns and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and procedures.
  • Conduct periodic boutique audits and control reviews.
  • Prepare financial and operational performance reports.
  • Identify financial risks and control weaknesses.
  • Partner with boutique managers to improve financial performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Ensure timely resolution of financial discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 6-9 years' finance experience, preferably in retail or multi-location businesses.
  • Strong experience in reconciliations, controls and financial reporting.
  • Strong Excel and ERP/POS knowledge.
  • High integrity and attention to detail.
  • Strong business-partnering and communication skills.
