A well-established organisation in Pretoria East is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Bookkeeper to join its finance team. Operating within the automotive industry , this opportunity will allow you to develop your bookkeeping skills while working closely with an experienced Accountant. You will gain exposure to day-to-day financial operations, reconciliations, month-end processes, and bookkeeping duties up to trial balance within a fast-moving and professional environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Process daily financial transactions accurately and timeously Maintain the general ledger and bookkeeping records up to trial balance Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations Capture and allocate invoices and payments Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Assist with cashbook processing and reconciliations Provide administrative and financial support to the Accountant Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills: Matric Relevant Finance or Accounting qualification advantageous 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience Bookkeeping experience up to trial balance Experience within the dealership or automotive industry advantageous Strong reconciliation skills Good understanding of accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time-management abilities Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems If you're ready to grow your finance career and gain valuable experience within a thriving automotive environment , then this opportunity is not to be missed.
