Battery Specialist B2B Phone Sales Representative

Position Type: Remote, Full-TimeWorking Hours: U.S Business Hours

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented B2B Phone Sales Representative to build and grow commercial accounts across Oahu, Hawaii. In this role, you’ll use outbound calling to connect with business decision-makers, understand their battery and power needs, and recommend suitable product solutions.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to closing and account development. This role is ideal for a disciplined salesperson who takes ownership of their pipeline, works independently, and is motivated by compensation tied directly to performance.

What You’ll Own

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

Make high-volume outbound calls to identify and qualify prospective commercial clients across Oahu.

Build a consistent pipeline through structured outreach, follow-ups, and callbacks.

Navigate gatekeepers and connect with key business decision-makers.

Needs Assessment & Solution Selling

Conduct discovery conversations to understand customers’ battery and power requirements.

Recommend suitable products based on each customer's needs.

Communicate product value clearly and build buyer confidence.

Account Development & Retention

Convert qualified prospects into active commercial accounts.

Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business and retention.

Maintain regular contact with existing accounts to identify new opportunities.

Salesforce & Pipeline Management

Use Salesforce daily to log calls, track activities, manage pipeline stages, and maintain accurate account records.

Keep follow-ups organized and pipeline forecasts reliable.

Monitor account progress and identify potential risks or opportunities.

Revenue & Performance Ownership

Take responsibility for the gross profit generated across your book of business.

Focus on winning and retaining accounts that contribute to long-term growth.

Communicate pipeline progress, account updates, and potential challenges to leadership.

Required Experience & Skills

3+ years of B2B sales experience, including closing accounts and managing customer relationships over the phone.

Proficiency in Salesforce for daily activity tracking, pipeline management, and account records.

Experience managing the full outbound sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to presentation and closing.

Strong phone communication, rapport-building, objection-handling, and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently, maintain consistent outreach, and take ownership of sales results.

Resilience and persistence when handling rejection or slow sales periods.

Ability to communicate account updates and pipeline risks proactively.

Nice to Have

Experience selling technical, industrial, battery, or power-related products.

Familiarity with commercial accounts and consultative B2B sales.

Experience building a customer base through cold calling and long-term account management.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

You take ownership of your pipeline and treat your book of business like a business of your own.

You follow a consistent prospecting routine and don't rely on reminders to complete follow-ups.

You build trust with decision-makers and understand how to turn initial conversations into lasting business relationships.

You stay motivated through rejection and remain disciplined when results fluctuate.

You communicate proactively and take responsibility for your performance.

You’re motivated by a compensation structure that rewards the accounts you win and maintain.

What Success Looks Like

A consistent pipeline of qualified commercial prospects across Oahu.

New commercial accounts secured through outbound sales efforts.

Strong account retention and repeat business.

Accurate Salesforce records and reliable pipeline visibility.

Sustainable gross profit growth across your book of business.

Typical Day

Your day begins by reviewing your Salesforce queue and prioritizing follow-ups, callbacks, and new prospects. You’ll spend much of the morning making outbound calls, qualifying business needs, and moving prospects through the sales pipeline.

Afternoons may focus on account maintenance, follow-up conversations, CRM updates, and planning the next day's outreach. You’ll work independently while checking in with your manager on pipeline health and sales strategy.

Compensation Structure

The compensation package includes a base salary plus performance-based profit sharing. You’ll earn a percentage of the gross profit generated by the accounts you secure and maintain, creating an opportunity for your earnings to grow with your results.
