Job Description

• We are looking for a creative and motivated Basic Video Editor (NYSC) to join our digital marketing team.
• This role is ideal for a serving NYSC corps member who is passionate about video editing, content creation, and storytelling.
• You will work closely with our creative team to produce engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms, websites, and digital campaigns.
• Trim, arrange, and enhance raw footage using basic transitions, effects, text, and music.
• Create engaging video content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Assist in developing creative concepts for promotional and marketing videos.
• Add subtitles, captions, logos, and simple motion graphics where required.
• Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and social media managers to deliver high-quality content.
• Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member.
• Must live in or close to Ajah for proximity to the office at Ogombo Road, Abraham Adesanya.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software such asCapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for different social media platforms.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and CapCuteffects is an added advantage.
• Creative mindset with a good eye for storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio or samples of previously edited videos will be an added advantage.
