Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, friendly, and customer-oriented Bartender responsible for preparing and serving beverages, attending to customer requests, and maintaining an organised and hygienic bar area.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of beverage preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Mix and present cocktails, mocktails, juices, and other beverages professionally.
Attend to customers’ orders promptly and provide recommendations where necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including counters, shelves, and equipment.
Monitor beverage stock levels and report items that require restocking.
Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages, ingredients, and bar supplies.
Process customer orders and payments accurately.
Maintain proper records of beverage sales and inventory where required.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and applicable service regulations.
Handle customer complaints and enquiries professionally.
Work closely with waiters, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
Minimise wastage and ensure responsible use of bar supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is an added advantage.
Knowledge of beverage preparation, cocktail mixing, and presentation.
Familiarity with different types of beverages and their ingredients.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of bar hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
9Relevant hospitality training or certification is an added advantage.
