In this role you run the bar with warmth and precision: drinks are right, the bar is ready, and guests feel looked after. You work closely with the F&B service team so bar and restaurant feel like one stay. This is a live-in role with rotational leave.
- Prepare and serve drinks to a consistent luxury standard.
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready before and during service.
- Take and post orders accurately; handle billing with care.
- Offer friendly, professional guest service at the bar and during meal periods.
- Support restaurant service when needed.
- Follow recipes and pouring standards so drinks taste the same every time.
- Protect stock, glassware, and company property.
- Complete end-of-shift closing and reporting.
- At least 2 years as a bartender in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, lodge, or safari camp.
- Strong cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drink knowledge.
- Accurate, hygienic work behind the bar.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Willing to live in at camp, work rotating shifts (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays), and follow a rotational leave pattern.
- Calm, guest-first, and reliable on standards and integrity.
Nice to have: safari camp or luxury lodge experience
