Description: A hands-on, long-term Au Pair / Family Assistant role responsible for child care, school and activity transport, household organization, and family errands. Additional responsibilities include assisting with two dogs, possible house/pet sitting, and potential travel with the family. Requires prior childcare/teaching experience, a valid driver's licence with confident driving skills, strong swimming ability, high initiative, and a clean criminal record. Responsibilities: Caring for and supervising two children Actively playing with and engaging the children Assisting with school, activities and transport Helping with family errands when required Assisting with general household organisation Working alongside other household staff Assisting with the family's two dogs when required Possible pet/house sitting when the family travels Domestic & International travel with the family Providing general family support where reasonably required Requirements: Previous Au Pair/Nanny experience or a teaching/education background Valid driver's licence Confident driving ability Strong organisational and self-management skills Excellent initiative and ability to work independently Genuine love for children and animals Comfortable around dogs Swimming ability Good communication skills in English & Afrikaans Reliable, mature and trustworthy Contactable references Clear criminal record Valid passport would be advantageous Please note only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
