Provide technical, analytical, research, and coordination support across the Capital Markets portfolio, contributing to effective project design, implementation, monitoring, and development-impact reporting.
Undertake market research, benchmarking, data gathering, and analysis to inform intervention design, implementation choices, and strategic decision-making.
Prepare and review high-quality technical materials, including concept notes, proposals, project-approval documents, terms of reference, presentations, briefing notes, and related project documentation.
Develop and refine project workplans, results frameworks, implementation approaches, and monitoring indicators, and track progress against agreed milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate technical inputs from internal teams, consultants, service providers, and external stakeholders; support workshops, meetings, and consultations; and document outcomes and actions.
Prepare draft project updates, implementation reports, development-impact reports, and knowledge-management outputs for review by project leads.
Requirements
Experience Required
Four to six years of relevant experience in research, analysis, policy, development finance, capital markets, or a related financial-markets discipline.
A demonstrated record of conducting and analyzing research and translating findings into clear written materials for diverse audiences.
Experience supporting project design, implementation, monitoring, reporting, or stakeholder coordination in a complex portfolio environment.
Experience in a financial-markets environment is preferred; experience on donor-funded projects and in multicultural teams is advantageous.
Technical Requirements
Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, public policy, development finance, capital markets, or a related field, with at least four years' relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least five years' relevant experience.
Strong market-research, analytical, benchmarking, and data-gathering capability, with sound judgment in applying findings to project and policy questions.
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills, including the ability to develop concept notes, proposals, terms of reference, project documentation, and reports.
Ability to work with workplans, results frameworks, monitoring indicators, implementation trackers, and development-impact reporting requirements.
Language Requirements
English professional written and spoken proficiency required.
French and/or relevant African languages are advantageous.
