We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant UTO / ROC Administrator to support the administration and day-to-day compliance activities of our Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Training Organisation (UTO) and Remote Operations Certificate (ROC) operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support administration and maintenance of UTO and ROC documentation, records and compliance files. *
Assist in maintaining training records, student files, instructor records, examinations and licensing documentation.
Support preparation, review and updating of training manuals, procedures, forms and operational documentation.
Assist with KCAA submissions, correspondence, inspections, audits and regulatory compliance activities.
Maintain registers for remote pilots, instructors, aircraft, equipment, training activities and operational records.
Assist in coordinating RPL training programmes, including student enrolment, scheduling, attendance, assessments and completion records.
Support UTO/ROC postholders in monitoring compliance with approved procedures and KCAA requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, UAS/Drone Technology, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field. Knowledge of Kenya's UAS regulatory framework and KCAA requirements.
Previous experience in UAS operations, aviation administration, training administration or regulatory compliance is an advantage. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and digital record-keeping systems.
Strong organizational, documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work with confidential and regulatory documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Knowledge or experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), or Aviation Security (AVSEC).
