We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager - FMN Holdings Limited
Location: Nigeria
Job Purpose
Manage and support procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and efficient supplier relationships while optimizing organizational spending.
The Job
Ensure the adequacy of bid specifications and preparation of sourcing-related documents.
Process ERP transactions and monitor contract execution, including termination, renewal, or amendment of terms.
Identify and close procurement bypasses to increase procurement involvement in spending.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal value for spending under management.
Support business partnering for assigned units and ensure timely delivery on agreed SLAs.
Track and report key procurement metrics in alignment with departmental objectives.
Assist the Procurement Manager in building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships.
Address supplier performance issues and escalate critical concerns as needed.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstocking.
Qualifications
HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Sciences or related discipline
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
