The Assistant Creative Designer / Content Creator will support our creative team in developing engaging visual and digital content for our marketing, communications, and social media activities.
The role combines fashion design, creative content development, graphic design, and production support.
The candidate will also serve as an important link between our clients and production teamtranslating client requests and ideas into clear, accurate sketches and design instructions that guide garment production.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a good understanding of fashion and garment construction, excellent sketching abilities, and a passion for creating compelling visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and expectations.
Create detailed fashion sketches based on client requests.
Ensure sketches accurately communicate garment style, fit, structure, and details for production.
Present approved sketches to the production team and communicate design specifications clearly.
Monitor production to ensure designs are interpreted and executed correctly.
Maintain organized records of client sketches, requests, and design specifications.
Assist the Head of Design with design development, research, and creative concepts.
Support the Head of Design in ensuring client visions are accurately captured and translated into garments.
Create graphics, social media posts, flyers, presentations, and other marketing materials.
Develop and edit engaging content for social media and other digital platforms.
Support photography, videography, video editing, and other creative production activities.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaigns and creative projects.
Ensure all creative content aligns with Beth O's brand identity and communication objectives.
Organize and maintain creative assets, templates, images, and content files.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to meet content schedules and deadlines.
Stay informed about current fashion, design, social media, and content trends.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements
Education:Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in fashion design and/or creative content production.
Experience working within a fashion or womenswear brand will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction techniques.
Excellent fashion sketching and illustration skills, both hand-drawn and/or digital.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret client instructions.
Good understanding of design-to-production processes.
