Artisan Assistant (mechanical)

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/ N3 Mechanical Engineering.
• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (added advantage).
• At least 12 months' experience in a similar environment.
• Code 8 or 10 driver's license (added advantage).

Primary Duties

• Caring of tools and materials.
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained.
• Cleaning tools and equipment drawn from maintenance tool store.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as and when required.
• General Assistance (drilling, grinding, holding, supporting, pushing and pulling all within limits).
• Prepare and paint equipment as per request.
• Perform digging as and when required.
