Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead integrated management of the President’s Office, ensuring seamless coordination of schedule, meetings, correspondence, travel, documentation, approvals, and stakeholder engagements
Architect and protect the President’s calendar, prioritizing strategic and governance matters
Coordinate planning and logistics for Presidential priorities, forums, Board engagements, missions, and official visits
Exercise sound judgement in triaging requests, correspondence, and decision itemsCoordination & Decision Support
Act as central coordination point for matters requiring Presidential attention
Maintain effective executiveoffice systems, processes, and workflows
Provide timely briefings, background information, analyses, and decisionsupport materials
Ensure thorough preparation for engagements with clear objectives, agendas, and speaking pointsGovernance & Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise professionally with Senior Management, Board, donors, government representatives, and partners
Coordinate Board interactions, including preparation and circulation of materials and decisions
Facilitate effective information flow between President and Senior Management
Represent the President’s Office in meetings and engagements as delegatedMonitoring & FollowThrough
Track commitments, milestones, responsibilities, and deadlines
Monitor followthrough on actions and directives from Presidential meetings
Document, communicate, and monitor decisions through to completion
Coordinate strategic and operational projects sponsored by the PresidentProfessional Standards
Maintain high standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Ensure executive output meets required standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Support compliance with governance, administrative, financial, and operational (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});requirements
Promote continuous improvement in executiveoffice processes and service deliveryQualifications & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, International Relations, Communications, Public Administration, or related discipline
Postgraduate qualification or certification in project management, executive administration, or governance is an advantage
Minimum 10 years’ experience supporting a Csuite executive, President, CEO, or comparable leader
Experience in complex, international, development, publicsector, or corporate environments
Proven ability to coordinate executivelevel meetings, Board engagements, and sensitive communications
Strong writing, editing, research, and presentation skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
Experience working across Africa with governments, donors, and development partners is an advantage
Ability to anticipate requirements and protect time for highvalue priorities
