Scope of Services & Key Tasks
Refine research questions, frameworks, methodologies, and protocols
Develop/adapt research tools, evidencereview frameworks, and interview guides
Conduct literature reviews, policy mapping, and institutional analysis
Coordinate data collection and ensure quality assurance and documentationAnalysis of Investments toward DD & GD
Map and analyse national policies, programmes, budgets, and investments
Assess adequacy of sectoral investments in education, health, and gender equality
Examine policy coherence, financing, and accountability mechanisms
Identify gaps, promising approaches, and lessons across countriesCurriculum & Pedagogy Research
Examine curriculum reforms and teaching approaches for improved learning outcomes
Analyse responsiveness to skills development, employability, and innovation
Assess teacher preparation, classroom practice, assessment, and technology use
Identify good practices, innovations, and scalable solutionsData Analysis & Comparative Insights
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis using appropriate software
Triangulate findings across evidence sources

Qualifications & Experience
PhD (completed within past 5 years) in Education, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Demography, Population Studies, or related fieldExperience
Expertise in human capital development, education systems, demographic or gender analysis
Strong understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, and skillsdevelopment systems
Experience in policyoriented/applied research with qualitative/quantitative methods
Proven ability to produce highquality analytical and policyrelevant outputsSkills & Competencies
Strong analytical, criticalthinking, and problemsolving skills
Ability to integrate demographic, gender, education, and economic perspectives
Proficiency in dataanalysis software
Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholderengagement skills
