About the Role

VitalMinds is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting & Finance Specialist to manage daily financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Oversee Accounts Payable, vendor payments, and invoice processing.
Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
Prepare and file statutory tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly and annual account reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and management reports in line with GAAP.
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting and finance experience.
Strong knowledge of AR, AP, payroll, and tax compliance.
Good understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
