Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join our finance team. TheAccounting Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managingaccounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and supporting the preparation of financialreports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellentorganizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. This role also holds theresponsibility to run an online reconciliation outside normal business hours such as weekends and publicholidays. The process entails the uploading of 4 files to an online reconciliation portal and ensuring thatthe process has been completed after a few hours. This is a process that will be shared with anotherindividual on the team. Monitor JIRA queue for refund processing to be submitted tovarious banks (performed thrice a week)o Assist with auditor request for the interim and annual audits.Banking and cash management:o Loading of supplier and employee payments on the banking platforms for approvalo Downloading of bank statements daily for settlement reconciliationo Perform daily GT Bank 9-9 recon updateo Assisting financial manager with cashflow forecastso Ensure all bank transactions process daily in NAVo Perform monthly bank reconciliation exerciseDaily VTU monitoring and purchase planning:o Prepare daily VTU dashboard for monitoring VTU balances and plan purchaseso Place orders with mobile network operatorso Load payments for VTU purchasesYearly external audit:o Assist with the year end audit by providing supporting documents and performing supportingcalculations related to responsibilities.o Assist the Financial Manager with preparation of schedules to support the drafting of financialstatements and ad-hoc audit requests.Accounts receivable collection:o Forward customer statements weekly/monthly and follow up on any unpaid invoices.o Posting of WHT credit notes upon receipt of payment.o Weekly review of customer Aging Analysis to ensure receipts allocated correctly.o Host weekly accounts receivable meetings with commercial team where uncollected settlementsare highlighted.o Reconcile customer settlements with billable transaction data from Clickatell systems and follow upon short payments with customers (daily bank settlement reconciliations).We Are On A Learning JourneyRequirements of the RoleQualification requiredWork experienceo 3 Years’ work experience in a similar finance role, accounts receivable and payableadvantageouso Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience would be an advantage.Knowledge and Abilitieso Ability to self-manage and perform processes independentlyo Attention to detail and variance analysis Copyright Clickatell Pty.
