Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ondo City, Ondo Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, monitor revenue and expenses, reconcile transactions, support inventory controls, and provide timely financial reports for YB Fitness and YB Yard.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of daily income, expenses, purchases, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile cash, bank transfers, and POS transactions with daily sales records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Monitor YB Yard revenue, costs, margins, and overall financial performance.
Work with the Yard Manager to reconcile food and beverage inventory with sales records.
Process and maintain proper documentation for supplier payments and operational expenses.
Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding financial obligations.
Support payroll preparation and other employee-related financial transactions.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial documents.
Assist management with budgeting and expenditure monitoring.
Identify financial discrepancies and escalate them promptly.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting procedures and statutory requirements.
Requirements
B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
2–3 years' relevant accounting experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
Strong numerical ability, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Relevant professional qualification or progress towards one is an advantage.
