Role Requirements Qualifications Relevant Financial Diploma qualification. BCom in Finance or Accounting will be advantageous. Experience Minimum of 10 years' experience in an Accountant role within a medium-to-large organisation. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous. Proven experience managing Debtors and Creditors functions. Strong practical experience in general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. Experience with month-end accounting processes, statutory returns and financial reporting. Experience preparing for and liaising with external auditors. Previous experience supervising or managing finance staff. Technical Requirements Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and financial controls. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Sage Pastel Evolution or a similar system. Good understanding of statutory compliance and taxation processes. Ability to analyse financial information, investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues. Key Competencies Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
