An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Accountant to join a corporate vehicle dealership in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs. Candidates must have motor industry accounting experience and strong dealership accounting systems knowledge. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage daily accounting and financial transactions within the dealership. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform bank, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. Manage debtors, creditors and financial recordkeeping. Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial planning. Process journals, accruals and month-end adjustments. Monitor dealership expenses and ensure accurate cost allocations. Assist with VAT calculations, submissions and statutory compliance. Ensure accurate month-end reporting and meet financial deadlines. Maintain financial controls and support internal and external audits. REQUIREMENTS: Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience within the motor industry , preferably in a corporate vehicle dealership. Experience working with vehicle brands such as Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki, etc. Experience with dealership accounting systems such as Kerridge, Automate or CDK . Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet month-end deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. SEND CV TO:
