Senior Project Accountant / Finance Manager Engineering & Construction At African Industries Group (aig)

Summary We are seeking accomplished finance professionals with extensive leadership experience to drive financial performance, governance, and strategic decision-making across our business units. Key Responsibilities Manage project budgeting, costing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. Monitor project profitability and cost controls. Partner with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors. Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting. Supervise and develop project accounting teams. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 15 years' experience in construction or engineering project accounting. Strong knowledge of contract accounting and percentage-of-completion reporting. Excellent financial analysis and project control skills. ICAN, ACCA, or ACA qualification is mandatory. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of IFRS and the Nigerian tax and regulatory environment. Proficiency in ERP systems. Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
