Job Description
We are seeking a competent, experienced, and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, professional integrity, and the ability to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and periodic financial reports.
Oversee account reconciliations, revenue records, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Monitor cash flow, expenditure, and budget performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
Maintain accurate financial records and effective internal controls.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support management decisions.
Identify financial discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACA or ACCA).
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
High levels of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Experience in healthcare or a multi-branch organisation will be an added advantage.
