About the Role

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and support the company's financial and accounting activities. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, effective financial controls, and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in real estate, property management, construction, or a related industry will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and accounting schedules.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and relevant financial analyses.
  • Perform bank, cash, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, including rental income, property-related payments, and outstanding balances.
  • Track property-related income and expenses and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and expenditure reports.
  • Support payroll processing and other finance-related administrative activities where required.

  • Assist with year-end financial statements, audits, and provision of required supporting documents.
  • Maintain proper records of company assets, expenses, and financial documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
