Job Title: Account Payable Officer

Job Summary
Consulting DCC is recruiting an Account Payable Officer on behalf of a client located in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This role is strictly for candidates who currently reside within Victoria Island or its immediate surrounding areas and can conveniently commute to work.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, payment requests, and other accounts payable transactions accurately and promptly.
Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
Prepare payment schedules and ensure payments are processed in line with approved procedures.
Monitor outstanding supplier balances and follow up on payment obligations.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
Support month-end closing and accounts reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 1–3 years' relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
Good understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must currently reside within close proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos.
Salary N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
