We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
Manage statutory payments, including PAYE, Pension, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
Oversee petty cash, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Prepare accounts payable aging reports, commercial reports, and payment schedules.
Monitor POS settlements and resolve payment discrepancies with banking partners.
Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and audit requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting.
Retail experience is an added advantage.
Professional certification in progress (ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Zoho Books, Sage, or ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
