Job Description

• We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern / Graduate Trainee to join our team.
• The role provides practical exposure to day-to-day accounting and finance activities while developing the candidate's professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recording daily financial transactions.
• Support preparation and filing of invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Support tracking of customer payments, expenses and outstanding balances.
• Assist with petty cash and expense documentation.
• Prepare and update Excel-based financial records and reports.
• Assist with maintaining accurate and organised accounting records.
• Support month-end reporting and other finance-related activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Accounts/Operations team.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduate or post-NYSC candidate.
• 0 - 1 year of experience; internship/industrial attachment experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Must be honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential information.
