Contract

This is an opportunity to join a newly established, AI-enabled in-house creative studio embedded within a leading global insurance and risk management organisation as an Integrated Designer.  This is a production-focused creative role spanning design, final artwork, asset adaptation and brand output across print, digital and mixed-media channels in a B2B, multi-market environment.  You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary creative team, taking creative briefs through to finished artwork across a high-volume, fast-moving portfolio. Your technical craft, creative judgement and ability to maintain brand consistency at pace will be central to how the studio delivers high-quality output from day one.  We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.  The Role: As an Integrated Designer, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate, engaging and on-brand design and artwork across print and digital channels. This will include brand campaigns, always-on content, event and marketing collateral, social media assets, email and long-form communications.  Working closely with the Senior Integrated Designer and Account Director, you’ll interpret briefs confidently, apply established brand guidelines and take projects through design and production to technically accurate finished artwork. You’ll also adapt assets efficiently across formats, markets and language variants.  Operating within a regulated financial services environment, you’ll bring precision and care to compliance-sensitive materials, applying required disclaimers, substantiation standards and sign-off checkpoints correctly as part of standard practice.  You’ll bring both technical discipline and creative awareness to every project. You’ll be comfortable working independently on production tasks, working collaboratively across the wider team and contributing ideas and improvements where they add value.  What You’ll Do:  Design artwork across print and digital formats, including brand campaigns, always-on content, social media, event collateral, email and long-form communications. Interpret briefs confidently and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines. Manage the full artwork lifecycle, including brief interpretation, creation, amends, quality checking, final delivery and file archiving within shared asset systems. Prepare printed collateral from layout through to technically accurate, repro-ready artwork. Prepare and check files for print and digital production, applying the correct specifications, pre-press standards and platform requirements. Adapt, resize and repurpose assets across formats, sizes and language variants for seven markets, maintaining visual consistency within brand guardrails. Apply appropriate production standards and channel best practices across social content, web-ready assets and printed collateral. Apply compliance requirements, disclaimers, substantiation standards and sign-off checkpoints as standard practice within a regulated financial services environment. Work effectively under direction while using your own initiative to resolve production and artwork requirements.  Brand and Asset Management  Implement and protect established brand identity standards across every format, channel and market. Maintain consistency across all brand-specific visual elements and communication touchpoints. Identify and resolve inconsistencies before output reaches stakeholders. Repurpose and adapt existing brand toolkits to produce fresh, engaging and relevant assets. Support the development and maintenance of reusable asset libraries and scalable templates to reduce duplication and improve studio efficiency. Make considered production decisions on layout, typography and imagery within brand guidelines without requiring direction on every asset. Apply strong attention to layout, typography, imagery and visual hierarchy throughout the production process.  Digital and Motion  Create and adapt digital assets, social media templates, web-ready files and platform-specific formats, optimised to the relevant technical specifications. Apply an understanding of digital and web production requirements when preparing final assets. Support the Motion Graphic Designer with short-form asset adaptation and variant production. Apply basic motion knowledge where required.  Collaboration and Studio Practice  Communicate clearly with the Brandtech+ team, agency colleagues and client stakeholders regarding project status, timelines and capacity. Present work internally and to clients when required. Manage multiple live projects and workloads within agreed timings. Build strong and effective working relationships across the print, digital and creative production.  Generative AI and Agentic Thinking  Integrate AI tools into design, artwork and production workflows, building effective prompts, critically evaluating outputs and applying human craft judgement before use. Use AI-assisted workflows for asset adaptation, resizing and transcreation across markets without compromising brand quality or compliance. Break down complex, multi-format briefs into clear and efficient steps. Adapt quickly when priorities shift. Explore how AI can improve production efficiency and craft quality.  What You’ll Bring: A strong portfolio demonstrating technical precision and creative awareness across print and digital, including brand campaigns, communications and always-on content. Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. A solid understanding of graphic design, print production, pre-press, web technologies and digital platform specifications. Experience preparing printed collateral through to final, repro-ready artwork. Experience producing and adapting assets for multi-market or international campaigns across formats, sizes and language variants. Practical experience working with brand identity and campaign systems. A strong understanding of layout, typography, imagery and visual hierarchy. A working understanding of brand identity systems, with the confidence to apply and protect visual standards independently. The ability to maintain consistent brand-specific design elements across multiple communication channels. Familiarity with compliance-sensitive production environments and the ability to apply disclaimers, substantiation requirements and sign-off processes as standard. Working knowledge of digital design practices, including social media templates, web asset preparation and basic motion graphics. Experience working within structured asset-management systems and reusable template libraries. Strong communication skills and an organised approach to managing multiple simultaneous projects within a collaborative creative team. The ability to work both under direction and independently, using initiative when appropriate. A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships. Working knowledge of AI tools relevant to creative production, with experience building effective prompts and critically evaluating outputs. An agentic mindset, with the ability to break production tasks into manageable steps and adapt when priorities shift. Genuine curiosity about how AI can improve production workflows and craft quality.  Formal degrees are welcome but not required.
