Account & Finance Lead At Zeconia Global Investment Company

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards under the supervision of executive management.
• Ensure timely preparation of management accounts and financial performance reports. Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure integrity of financial data.

Budgeting & Financial Planning:

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Develop financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Provide financial insights to support pricing, bidding, and investment decisions.
• Support project-based financial tracking and profitability analysis

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

• Manage company cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
• Oversee banking relationships and negotiate financial facilities where required.
• Monitor receivables and payables to ensure optimal working capital management.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and client invoice follow-up.

Compliance & Internal Control:

• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, pension, and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Cost Control & Risk Management:

• Monitor operational and project costs to ensure budget discipline.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support contract review process to assess financial exposure.
• Ensure insurance coverage adequacy and risk protection.
